Shadow quirked his eyebrow quizickly when he heard the slight tremor in Taylor's voice, she had obviously taken their unexpected reunion a little harder than he had. 'Should I... talk to her? No no, stupid Dominic she's a blue! She's not the girl from high school she's a cop and she's pointing a frickin' gun at you!' He mentally berated himself for even thinking of trying to get friendly with her.
He quickly turned his mind to thinking of ways to get out of the bind he was in. He instantly dismissed the idea of running on his twisted ankle, it wasn't a serious injury but it would defintly slow him down. Spirit was all over the place with 'business problems' so he couldn't call her in for help. The chances that another runner would come across the scene and help him were very unlikely, and he was pretty sure that the blues wouldn't just dump him back on the streets after a quick beating. He shuddered at the thought of getting put back in a cramped prison cell and burried his face into his hands agitatedly. What the hell was he meant to do!?

She knew she should move, but Spark just could drag her eyes away from the scene. The air nipped at her neck as she comtemplated about what she should do.
She was fast, sure, but there was no way that she would be able to keep her own between two officers, as well as the backup that was surely on it's way. Spark twirled her bony finger around a lock of vibrant red orange hair that sprouted from her scalp.
Quickly undoing the zipper on her small pack, right next to her small computer, was a small. orange ball. She picked it up and rubbed her fingers around the delicate edge. She really didn't want to waist one on something like this, but something inside of her told her to do something to save the semi-injured runner.
She turned around, holding a small makeshift ladder next to her, and crawled to the edge of the building, and flicked the small orange ball infront of the two female officers. In a fraction on a second, the ball exploded, laying down a thick screen of orange smoke.
Quickly, she send the ladder over the edge and whispered out to the runner.
"Hey!" she hissed, she waved his arm to get his attention, waved for him to come over, and pointed to the ladder. They had less than two minutes until the smoke cleared, and even less time if those officers really knew what they were doing.

Shadow looked up surprised when the thick layer of smoke seperated him from the officers. He looked behind him when he heard a female voice whispering as she threw a make-shift ladder down to him. He didn't even think of the dangers that it could be a trap set by the greens or even if the blues were setting him up before running with a slight limp towards the ladder and began climbing up.
He looked up for his saviour to see a young girl with vibrant orange and blonde hair sitting at the top of the roof. He eventually crawled onto the roof and smiled up at her. "Thanks, I was about to get in a real mess there." He shuddered again at the thought of his cold and decaying prison cell before pushing himself up. "Well I'd like to have a proper introduction but there isn't exactly time for that." He waved before running off, all the while the image of doves flashing through his head.

Spark's expression didn't change when the other runner smiled at her, or when he thanked her, but she glanced at her watch.
"Thirty eight seconds," She counted, pulling up the ladder and getting up, turning swiftly on the heel of her wrap boots. She looked at the runner with a cold stare, hoping to detract him from her small frame. She walked across the wide building to the edge. "I know a safe place we can go."

Shadow stopped and turned back to the girl as he folded his arms across his chest. "I know I'm not exactly in a position to argue but why exactly should I trust you?" He spoke with a hint of suspicion as he looked the girl up and down. By the looks of her and the equipment she was carrying she was a hacker and not a runner which meant if worse came to the worst he could possibly outrun her or beat her in a fight. She wasn't wearing colours so she wasn't a green but blues going undercover as runners wasn't exactly a rarity these days. It was better to keep the girl at arms distance.

Spark exhaled. "We have twenty two seconds until the smoke clears and the officers get a clear enough view," She started. Then she pointed to his leg. "You will not get anywhere when your leg is in that condition, you need it to be wrapped up to stop further damage. Then..." She pointed to the sky. "You will be spotted easily be the bird that is coming our way, and by any backup that is coming."
"Plus, saving you was my choice, I wasted a precious smoke bomb on you." She told him blankly. "Twelve seconds."

As soon as something orange came into her view, Taylor jumped back and closed her eyes.
Big mistake...
Her ears popped as the orange ball exploded, making a suffocating layer of orange smoke down on Livvia and her. And just their luck, backup was only a few seconds away, she clearly heard the chopper above her, and the runner was no where is sight.
Taylor crouched on the ground, where the smoke was already starting to dissipate. She couldn't see any feet, anything that signaled that the runner was in the area.
"Aero?" What's your visibility?" Taylor called out.

Shadow looked hesitant for a moment. He didn't trust easily and when some girl who seems to have pretty good knowledge on how to make an effective weapon and talks like she's been brainwashed comes along to save him he was pretty sure he had reason to be wary. Then again he had a better chance of survival with the strange girl than trying to run back to HQ on his own. "Alright, where to?"

Spark looked at the man and exhaled. "To the church, the priest is a friend of mine, he can help you with your leg," She motioned to the edge of the building.
"Hurry, eight seconds," She looked at her watch and whipped her head around, watching the smoke disappear in the sky. The church wasn't far, and before hand, Spark let a whisper of a trail leading north, hopefully the cops would catch onto that. "Are you going to be okay to run to the church?"

Shadow shrugged as he stretched slightly. "I've had worse, let's go." He gave one last look at the vague figures of the officers in the smoke before jogging after Spark.
(Sorry for rubbish post.)
