Shorts cursed then started pushing down the stairs away from the door, but I stopped her and asked her.
"Wait! What is it, Blues? Check how much there are and if their numbers are little we have to attack because I'm pretty sure the if they've secured this place they will have the secured the next place you were going to take me..." I said to Shorts who was almost dumbfounded.

I rolled my eyes at Bullet. "How do you think they got up there? They have a bird, and stop suggesting things. I have been running professionally for nine years, I know how things go down, so stop acting like you know what happens." I snapped. "Don't ever confront blues unless it is absolutely necessary," I pulled at him, then jumped the railing, jumping down another flight. "Let's go!" I ordered.
I ran back down the stairs, then I as reached the door that led out of the stairwell, I turned, and walked to a small hatch. I twisted the knob and opened it up, revealing a dark tunnel. I dug in my pocket and took out two small cylenders, each equipped with a small light. I tossed on to Bullet, and pointed to the hole.
"In, and hurry."

Shorts handed me a light source and pointed into a hole and said.
"In, and hurry."
As I went inside the hole, the tunnel seemed to be a steam vent which has been run down with the new technology. I hopped in and ran to the end of the tunnel, I could see slits of light at the end.
"What's beyond that vent opening?" I asked Shorts.
I suddenly heard steam being released about 657m. away. Shorts said something and opened the vent opening quickly.

"Our way out, hopefully," I opened the vent quickly, then slid in, the opening being slimmer than I thought it would. I kept going, looking for the opening that lead outside. Every once in a while I would hear some steam go off, then as I came across a vent, hot steam blasted out, hitting my wrist.
"Damn," I recoiled my wrist, then kept going, eventually coming to a hatch. I opened it, making light flood in. I pulled myself out through the hole, and came up on behind of the mall. Standing straight, I examined my wrist, which was turning a nasty shade of red, then looked behind me seeing Bullet coming out of the hatch.

"Ooof, that's gonna' leave a mark" I said looking at Shorts' wound.
At the back of the mall I saw to it I made it home.
"I'll meet you at the docks by 1:30 pm. tomorrow, k?" I asked Shorts, who was still glancing back and forth between me and her wound.

"Fine," I responded, turning on my heel, then walking away. I looked over my shoulder at him. "be careful, This place is teeming with Blues," I told him, then walked out onto the sidewalks, blending in with the crowd.
